"This device could be a game-changer for many bikes and riders of all types."
"One seat position isn't actually the optimum position most of the time… sometimes on the super steep climbs you've got to get your weight right over the front and at the same time keep some pressure on the saddle so I think this is a really cool idea."
Done 2 Enduro races and a number of big days in the saddle since installing my switchGrade. No longer wear a chamois. Gives up a bit of drop (shimmed my oneup post 20mm) but more than makes up for it with angle and comfort. Added blue locktite to the fasteners after it came loose after a couple rides, other than that its performed flawlessly!
Just got back from my first ride in Tirol Austria. Main reason for buying it was less lower back pain while climbing. For me it works perfectly. The tilted saddle really makes all the difference. Haven't used the downhill option much, since I'm usually out of the saddle riding down. Ordered a 2nd one for use on my bikes with bikeyoke revive droppers.
A work of art! This is the probably the coolest upgrade I've made on my bike. Functionally, it's spot on giving me a better position during climbing and descending.
when you tight the saddle mounting screw, the rotation gets a little tough, but the system works very well. good angles when riding, especially during climbs
Thanks for the feedback Andrea! We're happy to hear that you are getting on well with the SwitchGrade. A tip: be sure to apply max torque of 4Nm on the rail clamps. This will ensure seamless operation.
Enjoy the trails!
